Marrickville's Organic Markets

As an inner-westie myself, a venture over to Marrickville’s Sunday Organic Markets (on
Addison Road ) is a simple one.

Weather permitting, it is a fantastic day out for the family. My wife and I are expecting a baby in the coming months, so we are always on the look out for things to do when the mini-us arrives.

Marrickville Markets will definitely be on  my list. There are plenty of organic food stalls and an array of fresh produce to purchase. Above this however there is a very cool vibe in the air, with folk singers busking to the left and second hand book stalls to the right.

The walkways are probably a bit tricky to navigate with a stroller. So if you have a baby, best strap him/her to your chest. If you have toddlers, there is a jumping castle that simply can not be refused (even by myself).

There is also an organic coffee stand which sold me one of the best flat whites I have had in a long time.

  1. Hey, how come you don't take me to the Marrickville Markets when I come to visit? I'd love to try out the jumping castle!
